The time has come for me to update my "About Me" page since so much has changed since I originally wrote this section. My name is still Megan (obviously), but I am now 34 and the mother of three absurdly wonderful children - two gorgeous girls and one handsome little boy. I am a culinary school graduate and now make cakes (and other baked goods) out of my home, smack dab in the middle of Texas. My business is called "Three Monkeys Bakery" (after the three monkeys that I do most of my cooking and baking for) and you can find me online at www.threemonkeysbakery.com or on Facebook.
I started this blog to write about my passions in life - good food and, as a corollary to that, feeding my children the highest quality food available while developing their palates as best as I possibly can. We are adventurous eaters dealing with the constraints that go along with having a family member with severe food allergies and I want to share not only my passion for food, but also helpful tips and information that comes from my experience and education as a professional chef.
